Transparency
We make a virtue out of communication between ourselves
and also with our clients. Although our team is spread across
seven offices, we exchange via an intranet all our investment ideas, updates and visit reports.
We write monthly newsletters to clients (Diaries) and attach full details of
our portfolio holdings.
We also send clients a Holdings Booklet every four months which
contains our one page synopsis on each of the funds’
investments. We find the preparation of the booklet a useful
discipline.We also
circulate our (occasionally indignant) letters to investee
companies on issues of corporate governance. |
